Mr. Mathrani has served on the board since September 2020. Mr. Mathrani is a director at Sycamore Partners leading its real estate activity. Prior to joining Sycamore Partners, he served as Chief Executive Officer of WeWork from February 2020 until May 2023, and also served in the role of Chairman from March 2022 until May 2023. Before joining WeWork, Mr. Mathrani served as CEO of Brookfield Properties Retail Group and as Vice Chairman, Brookfield Properties. Before joining Brookfield, he served as CEO of GGP Inc. and held senior executive roles with Vornado Realty and Forest City Ratner Companies. Mr. Mathrani serves on the executive board and the board of trustees for the International Council of Shopping Centers, the executive board and 2019 chair of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, as well as on the board of directors for Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. and Bowlero Corporation. Mr. Mathrani holds a Master of Engineering, Master of Management Science and Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
